Description[]
Appearance[]
Classic Oswald looks identical to Dark Oswald, except that his textures are not black. Instead, he looks more like the classic Disney character. His body's color is black while his face's color is white, and he has blue overalls which are in good condition, unlike Dark Oswald's melted ones. Like Dark Oswald, he has no arms.
Behavior[]
Classic Oswald starts on Night 4 in the Storage Room, and only his ears are visible since Night 1. He becomes active starting on Night 4, and he will also not move until Dark Oswald leaves the Storage Room. After moving to the Staff Area, he will rush through the Meat Freezer to the office, only to attack the player and end their run. To avoid Classic Oswald, the player must hide under the desk or shut off a camera or the power before he reaches the office.
Locations[]
Classic Oswald starts in the Storage Room behind the boxes with Dark Oswald before peeking out, and will then move to the Staff Area. After rushing towards the Meat Freezer, he will then run into the office.
Trivia[]
- Before Classic Oswald was added, his ears were visible in the Storage Room.
- He was given the nickname "NOswald" by FateForWindows.
- Prior to Abandoned: Discovery Island 1.1, he was simply known as Oswald while his less-finished counterpart from the original game was referred to as Dark Oswald. As this caused confusion and a split in the Five Nights at Treasure Island fanbase as a whole, 1.1 renamed him to Pure Oswald and reverted the original Oswald's name change.
- It would later be changed again in Revision 1 to his current name, which was later used again in New Super Abandoned: Discovery Island.
- The original suit which was going to be seen running on-camera was Acephalous, but was changed in the found version.
- Classic Oswald seems to behave like Foxy from the original Five Nights at Freddy's. Both have to be watched on the monitor and run toward the office.
- His screech is made by George W. Kush, which his screech is a high-pitched version of Oswald's scream.
- In earlier versions of Abandoned: Discovery Island, Classic Oswald had a jumpscare similar to Dark Oswald that was used before it got scrapped in the current version.
- In the main menu of Revision 1, Classic Oswald has a redesigned model of having arms. This model was scrapped due to all Oswalds not having arms in the game.
- In A:DI 1.1, a fully untextured clone of Oswald that is fully white-colored is seen in the Extras, named "OH DEAR GOD".
Glitches[]
- During Classic Oswald's 2nd Jumpscare, his body is clipping through the pencil.
- Along with this fact, at the end, the pencil floats in mid-air.
- Also, the monitor on the right of the desk is in mid-air too.
- The map also clips through that same monitor.
- Also, the map seems to move in one direction, and it does not change it's shape. In real life, papers cannot do this.
- The pencil is also clipping through the desk.
