“ | You have defeated me. That's impossible. I'm supposed to be a god. Well, at least now you have potential. I have been trapped here for too long, and have been waiting to get out. No one new to meet, no one special, nothing. I have been longing for a friend. Maybe we can become friends? | ” |

True Mickey is the true main, later devolved to the third of the main antagonists of Five Nights at Treasure Island, alongside Photo-Negative Mickey and Willy. He is not a suit at all (unlike the other characters in the game). He is a demon in the game, but appears as a ghost in Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found (Revision 1). True Mickey and MickMick are the only duo quite close to each other in terms of physical appearance.
Description[]
Apppearance[]
True Mickey seems to share the same appearance as Photo-Negative Mickey, however, his eyes are replaced with glossy, human-like eyes (similar to those of MickMick and The Face's), and some of his colors are slightly darker than normal. Additionally, he has large eye-sockets that are alot similar to MickMick's ones.
Behavior[]
True Mickey becomes active starting on Night 6 alongside Photo-Negative Mickey, Photo-Negative Minnie, Oswald, The Face, Suicide Mouse, Undying, MickMick, Slester, and Mickey Mouse. He will begin in the Staff Area, off-screen. Then, he will appear in the room, standing directly in front of the camera. This can help the player prepare for him to move. He heads directly to the Office, and moves very quickly than most of the other suits in the game. He appears in most of the cameras, with the expection of locations being: CAM 4, CAM 5, CAM 8, CAM 9, CAM 10 and CAM 11.
If True Mickey appears in The Office, the player needs to raise the monitor and shut down a camera. This creates the loud noise to draw True Mickey into another location. The player also has an option to hide under the desk, giving the player 50/50 chance of surviving. The player can also turn off the power to also get rid of him. Failing or neglecting to do any of these actions will cause True Mickey to kill the player.
During a power outage, True Mickey gets hyperactive than the other suits from 12AM-6AM. Once True Mickey appears in the Office, the player must shine the flashlight to make him leave. If the player takes too long, True Mickey will kill the player.
While moving, True Mickey will say one of his voicelines set below:
- "Hello, welcome to the show of nightmares."
- "You won't last long."
- "I... am the true one."
- "You escaped from me once, but you won't escape again."
On Night 6, in "Nightmare Mode", he is the most aggressive enemy. He starts in a random area but moves in a specific path. When he is in the Office, the player must activate the Office Light to deter him, however if they take too long, he will kill the player. True Mickey will start at the Staff Area, and will move to either Character Prep 1 or the Broadcasting Room on random occasions. He will then move to the Meat Freezer, move to the Lounge, and then will appear in the Office.
True Mickey makes his first appearance in the opening cutscene. After jumpscaring the player, Jake will wake up.
On Night 6, he will start outside the cameras. At 1:AM, True Mickey will reappear in the Staff Area, then will move to Meat Freezer at 2:AM. AT 3:AM, the building will enter "low power mode" and the power will become extremely limited. Once this happens, True Mickey will say "You escape from me once, but you won't escape again,". True Mickey will fight face to face with the Player until 6:AM. Sometimes, he can move in Office, where the player must activate the lights to make him go away, and sometimes the player will hear static and the power will begin to drain, where the player must press "X" to deactivate the TVs in the Broadcasting Room remotely. In older releases, Undertale-like scenes would occasionally occur during this part of Night 6 and the player must dodge the Mickey Mouse heads in a fashion, similar to Undertale (avoid the white bullets, move through the orange and stand still through the blue). This was removed in version 1.1. After that (if the player gets to 6:AM), the "true final battle" begins.
If the player doesn't deal with True Mickey appropriately, True Mickey will kill the player.True Mickey will attack randomly with yellow, orange and blue Mickey heads similar to in Nightmare. Larger versions of the Mickey heads will appear on occasion and later on in the fight, lasers will start appearing along with green Mickey heads. Green Mickey heads will heal the player. The player must press Fight using the Z button when the button appears to attack.
True Mickey will attack in "waves". The waves are randomly selected. - True Mickey will be spewing white Mickey heads while blue and orange Mickey heads fly throughout the screen. The Mickey heads will move more rapidly later in the fight. - Large white and black Mickey heads will slowly fall down the screen. - Lasers will be randomly attacking the player in certain numbers. These numbers increase later throughout the fight. - True Mickey will slash at the player's SOUL. If the player does not keep moving, they will take substantial damage.
After the player dies from the Mickey heads. Photo-Negative Mickey will resurrect the player with his yellow blood. Once resurrected, True Mickey's battle sprite will appear, as a slightly sped up version of Hopes and Dreams from Undertale will play along. He attacks with Blue Mickey heads, and sets of white lines that suddenly pop out (after the red warning line appears). If the player is not careful, damage increases. This battle tends to get more faster, making it more harder. For the player to attack, go to the "FIGHT" button, then blood will come out, then he'll show is health bar. Randomly, a big Mascot Photo-Negative Mickey head will appear. Once True Mickey is defeated, dialogue will show:
- "..."
- "You have defeated me..."
- "I am more powerful than you... I should have defeated you."
- "But, you still won..."
- "Jake, want to know the real reason why I wanted to kill you?"
- "Because, I wanted to be able to escape this hell."
- "I wanted to entertain..."
- "That's why I was doing this."
- "..."
- "I can't go back to my home dimension."
- "This place is like a prison."
- "Trapped here, no friends, nothing to do."
- "Maybe, we can become friends?"
- "I guess we can be."
- "But, this is such a big change."
- "Okay, I will leave you alone..."
- "Wait..."
- "Maybe you can come with me."
- "I think it would be a good idea to be friends."
- "Maybe help out with the SSA?"
- "Thank you..."
- "Now, I will finally have a purpose in this dimension."
- "Thank you..." (again)
- "Jake, you're okay!"
- "Dad?"
- "You're alive?"
- "But I saw your... (body in the Meat Freezer)"
- "Don't worry, son."
- "That inverted Mickey costume was worried that I was dead..."
- "He took my wallet, which I had..."
- "...and he found out that his blood type... It's the same as mine."
- "I was in a red humanoid costume this whole time, and I didn't want to hurt you."
- "But, he did."
- "I don't want to anymore."
- "Jake..."
- "I think i'm the one who needs to apologize."
- "Let's end everything, right here, right now."
- "Because you have befriended all of us."
- "Even me (and True Mickey)."
Locations[]
True Mickey starts outside the cameras at 12:AM. He begins at the Staff Area on 1:AM, and moves at the Meat Freezer, occasionally Character Prep 1, the Broadcasting Room, the Lounge, and will then move into the Office.
Trivia[]
- True Mickey is not a suit at all. In Abandoned: Discovery Island, he is a demon. In Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found (Revision 1), he is a ghost. Despite these traits, it's more likely that True Mickey is a mouse.
- In the New Super Abandoned: Discovery Island, Dante specifically refers to him as a "sleep paralysis demon", hinting at his true nature in this continuity.
- True Mickey could be twice as dangerous as Undying; while Undying requires the player to shut off the power when he enters the Office, and Willy requires the player to stop using the monitor too much or he will move into the Office, where the player must shut off a camera.
- True Mickey has a chance of causing a problem in the game.
- True Mickey revealed who Undying is in the beta of the game. Undying was revealed to be Jake's long-dead father.
- When the player is in the battle, the music that plays is Hopes and Dreams from Undertale.
- However, the game's file one is used, so it is slightly sped up.
- The sped up version is not the version that was included in the Undertale Soundtrack, it is a slowed down one.
- Due to a coding mistake, the music is absent in 1.1. This was fixed in New Super Abandoned: Discovery Island, which additionally changes the theme to the in-game version.
- However, the game's file one is used, so it is slightly sped up.
- True Mickey's 4th voiceline: "You've escaped from me once... but you won't escape again," could mean that he is one who killed Jake in the Bad Ending.
- This was later proven false after Desko stated that Photo-Negative Mickey, in fact, was Jake Smith's killer in the Bad Ending. This is also proven by Photo-Negative Mickey's laughter audio heard at the cutscene of the Bad Ending.
- This is actually talking about Jake Smith waking up from his dream, "escaping" True Mickey, albeit indirectly.
- In the True Ending, Jake Smith becomes friends with True Mickey.
- When finishing his jumpscare, the words "YOU WAKE UP" may appear.
- It probably means that he "waked up" Jake Smith.
- This, too, was debunked by Desko through an edit to this very wiki page.
- True Mickey, to some other people that think so, is actually MickMick, just with the colors inverted.
- It probably means that he "waked up" Jake Smith.
- After the "waking up" screen, a still image of God may appear as a jumpscare. However, it won't crash the game.
- When he appears in the Office From Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found (Revision 1) and during Night 6, True Mickey will stand at the right side of the office and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He will not jumpscare the player, due to Corruptus being the only one who can jumpscare the player in this night, as True Mickey will only be stalking around the player.
